EIT Food accredited as Innovation Center in Poland, strengthening its role in Europe's innovation ecosystem
One of only three organisations accredited in both incubation and acceleration categories, reinforcing EIT Food's ability to support agrifood innovators from venture creation through to business growth and market expansion.
EIT Food has been officially accredited as an Innovation Center in Poland by the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology, following a highly competitive national evaluation process.
The accreditation places the organisation among 27 institutions recognised nationwide for their contribution to innovation and entrepreneurship and strengthens opportunities for collaboration with startups, public institutions and industry partners in Poland and across Europe.

Recognition for a strong innovation strategy
Organisations were assessed on the quality and effectiveness of their innovation support strategies. EIT Food received scores of 87% for incubation activities and 85% for acceleration activities during the evaluation process. Assessors highlighted the overall quality of the operational strategy, with particular recognition given to its internationalisation approach.
The accreditation recognises EIT Food's role in supporting entrepreneurship, accelerating the development and market adoption of deep-tech solutions, and promoting greater inclusivity. Through programmes such as the EWA Programme and the EIT Food Accelerator Network (EIT FAN), we help founders validate technologies, build businesses, and prepare for growth across European markets.
