Call for Subcontractor(s) to implement EIT Food GoToBusiness workshops for entrepreneurial talents/startups from Ukraine is open!

Together we can revolutionize Ukraine's Agrifood Sector and empower Ukrainian Entrepreneurs

09 May 2023

EIT Food is committed to supporting the development of a sustainable and future-proof food system in Europe, and this includes promoting innovation and entrepreneurship in Ukraine's agrifood sector. As part of its efforts, EIT Food is launching the GoToBusiness activity in 2023 to support Ukrainian entrepreneurial talents who wish to develop their business concepts and set up new startups, particularly in the agrifood sector.

The GoToBusiness activity will focus on creating a sustainable impact in Ukraine's agrifood sector by boosting innovation and entrepreneurship, creating new economic opportunities, and promoting sustainable and environmentally friendly practices. The activity will also provide training, mentoring, and other forms of support to entrepreneurs and innovators in Ukraine, helping them to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in their endeavours.

In addition, the activity will seek to establish partnerships between Ukrainian and international businesses and organisations to facilitate knowledge transfer and create new opportunities for collaboration. The ultimate goal of the activity is to create sustainable impact in Ukraine's agrifood sector by promoting economic growth, job creation, and a more resilient and competitive agricultural industry.

EIT Food will be contributing its best-in-class experts, creative community, and unique know-how to support idea-holders in turning their ideas into businesses, learning how to start a company, and evolving the relationship between business and science. The activity will help innovators and entrepreneurs build a viable business model around their innovative product or service idea, gain entrepreneurial skills for starters, and encourage scientists to cooperate with businesses.

To achieve these goals, EIT Food is inviting potential collaborators, including legal entities, natural persons, and consortia of organisations, to apply and become a co-organiser of the GoToBusiness activity as a subcontractor. The successful subcontractor will play a key role in delivering the activity, including selecting and inviting participants, organising and running the workshops, and providing follow-up support to the participants.

Interested applicants who wish to become a subcontractor for EIT Food's GoToBusiness activity for 2023 are invited to submit their proposals in English by 18th June 2023, 12:00 CEST.
