Paola brings with her 26 years of experience across the food industry and has spent most of her career working in R&D, Innovation and Strategic Technology at Unilever, Chiquita Brands and Migros-Industry, the production component of the Federation of Migros Cooperatives. Paola has a PhD in Food Biotechnology and Preservation, and a Master’s degree in Food Science and Technology from the University of Udine in Italy.
Speaking on her first day at EIT Food Paola said:

I will be drawing on my experience to help inspire our creative and innovative thinking at EIT Food and to further embed an entrepreneurial mindset into all of our projects and activities.”
