WORKSHOP: Exploring scope 3 emissions and GHG reductions in the agrifood supply chain

If you are a sustainability/procurement officer/manager/director responsible for GHG emissions inventory, management, and reporting at your company, join us for an exclusive workshop on scope 3 emissions and reductions of emissions in the supply chain on March 21st 2024. This workshop will occur as the official side event the New AgVentures. CEE Food Innovators Meetup , taking place later that day.

Why should you participate?

You will get practical knowledge and skills on:  

  • legal framework in the EU – disclosure/reporting and on the scope 3 guidance in the agrifood sector 

  • managing scope 3 emissions in an agrifood company, incl. measuring, identifying hot spots, and Setting targets 

  • Reduction with engagement of suppliers, including primary producers and farmers 

All of this based on CASES!

  • representing large companies and SMEs from Central-Eastern Europe from the agrifood sector

Among our experts are Ernesto Hartikainen, CEO of Biocode and Magda Horváth, Senior consultant, Gaia Consulting (Finland). Both with many years of experience and practice working with agrifood companies on GHG calculations, inventories, and reduction of GHG emissions.  

📩 Each participant will receive access to the EIT Food Manual on implementing innovations aimed at the decarbonisation of the food value chain.
