The practical workshop will provide small-scale producers in agrifood sector with comprehensive understanding of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles and their impact on business success. Topics like key ESG factors, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and practical approaches to mapping and assessing environmental and social activities will be covered. Participants will learn how to evaluate their organization's sustainability efforts and enhance transparency in corporate governance.

The workshop will also provide insights into the European Union’s SME-focused ESG framework (EFRAG VSME). Through group discussions and hands-on exercises, attendees will assess ESG impacts and develop strategies to reduce their CO₂ footprint.
