Training school on analytical approaches for food safety, quality and authenticity assessment

The Department of Food and Nutrition Analysis, UCT Prague, organizes the event "Training school on analytical approaches for food safety, quality and authenticity assessment" financially supported by EIT Food on 6 - 8. September 2023.

The goal of the event is to provide students in the field with an opportunity to train in advanced analytical strategies used to assess food safety, authenticity and quality. Various case studies will be presented, including development of analytical methods, data evaluation, QA/QC.
Participants will have the opportunity to meet experts in the field, gain information from other young colleagues, to network and discuss their current and future research activities. They will also be introduced to the activities of EIT Food, which are aimed at supporting students and entrepreneurial talents.

Who should attend?

The training is mainly aimed at doctoral and post-doctoral students, but undergraduate students who are interested in learning more about the strategies used in food analysis, including current trends in analytical method development, data evaluation, QA/QC, problem solving, can also participate.
