Welcome to this year's series of courses on Regenerative Agriculture that will take place all over Europe!
This event will consist of :
📍 Two days of in-depth study and training on ecosystem observation with a focus on water resource management, analysis of the participants' farm-territory contexts, and a host farm design exercise
💰 Completely free training facilitated by experts in the field and financed by EIT Food and Fondazione Capellino, at Az.Agr. Apis Organic (Viterbo)
📅 4 - 5 June 2024 (full day)
🌳 PROGRAMME:
The training is organised in four modules, with classroom and field sessions, and exercises where participants can share and reflect on their own context. Among the points that will be covered are:
4 June - Morning (DEFINITION OF CONTEXT):
Introduction: presentation of the territorial and productive contexts of the farms of participants, trainers, and host structure
Ecological principles for reading, analysing and understanding the farm and territorial context
4 June - Afternoon (OBSERVATION):
Visit to Az.Agr. Apis Organic: ecosystem observation and landscape analysis, recognising the movement of water
Focus on the participants' farms: exercise in reading their agricultural ecosystems, identifying potential and limiting factors
5 June - Morning (EVALUATION):
Concrete examples of tools and solutions for water resource management
How to choose appropriate solutions to support the ecological potential of one's business and territorial context
5 June - Afternoon (PLANNING):
From observation to action: practical exercise in designing company water systems
Thinking beyond the company: utopian design thinking as a bioregion
