Europe’s soils are under pressure - but so are its farmers, food systems, and policies. Transitioning to regenerative agriculture requires not just innovation, but collaboration across disciplines. This workshop brings together farmers, researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to identify leverage points and chart a path forward. On October 30th 2025, we gather in Portugal to learn from real-world practitioners and imagine what the future of farming could look like.
This is not a typical workshop. It’s a free one-day, invite-only day designed to inspire, connect, and roll up our sleeves together. In the unique atmosphere of Herdade no Tempo, a regenerative farm south of Lisbon, we’ll explore living examples of soil regeneration, share stories from farmers and innovators, and dive into hands-on sessions that mix science with practice.Expect lively conversations, practical takeaways, and plenty of time to
connect over good food and local hospitality.

A SPECIAL VENUE FOR A SPECIAL DAY
Set among cork and olive groves in Portugal’s Alentejo, our venue is part of Silent Living’s Herdade No Tempo - a visionary project blending architecture, community, and regenerative farming. Designed with rammed-earth inspired walls that echo the region’s traditions, it is both strikingly modern and deeply rooted in place. More than a venue, it is a space where people gather to reconnect with the land through agriculture, craft, and shared experience. The atmosphere is at once raw, timeless, and inspiring - the perfect setting for our gathering.
Throughout the day, participants will enjoy delicious farm-to-table catering prepared with fresh, seasonal produce from the estate and local producers. From welcome drinks with fruit and fresh juices, to a seated lunch featuring regional wines, breads, cheeses, and olives, each meal is a celebration of the Alentejo’s flavors. We’ll close the day with a festive cocktail and local snacks — a perfect moment to reflect and connect.
