Themes and Priorities
Three mega food challenges currently sit front and centre stage for all professionals working in the food sector:
- Food Security (supply chain robustness, food affordability)
- Health and Nutrition (obesity, allergens, nutritional density)
- The Environment (sustainability, biodiversity, net zero)
None of these themes act in isolation and it is the combination of each of these that bring the greatest challenges, and which are the focus for our highly relevant and practical conference this year. Opportunities to update your knowledge and network with colleagues and members abound at SC23 – IFST’s technical and professional development conference. Scroll down to view the full agenda.

To launch our event and provide a great networking opportunity, members and colleagues are invited to meet in person at our ‘SC23 Dinner and Networking Evening' with our guest speaker: Mike Woods, Chief Executive Officer, The Just Love Food Company
