Journalists, Henry Foy correspondent from the Financial Times, Michael Stothard from Sifted, a new FT-backed media group and Nicholas Bray, ex/journlaist from the Wall Street Journal and Reuters news agency will provide press release and writing skills to engage and communicate with journalists and other media.
Michael Stothard is the Editor of Sifted, a new Financial Times backed media taking a fresh look at Europe’s tech and startup world. He previously worked at the Financial Times, where his roles included Madrid bureau chief, Nordic and Baltic bureau chief and Paris correspondent.
Henry Foy is the FT's Moscow Bureau Chief, managing the newspaper's coverage across Russia and the former Soviet Union, focusing on the politics and personalities of Vladimir Putin's Kremlin and the administration's foreign and diplomatic strategies amid souring relations between Moscow and the west. Henry previously led the FT's Warsaw bureau and was the paper's award-winning automotive correspondent in London. Henry joined the FT in 2013 from Reuters, where he was a correspondent in India.
Nicholas Bray, is an independent writer, editor and communications consultant. Based in the French Basque Country, he worked for 25 years as a foreign correspondent for the news agency Reuters in Paris, Rome and Brussels and then for the Wall Street Journal in Paris, Madrid and London. From 1998 to 2010, he headed the media department of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development in Paris. He has given courses in journalism at Sciences Po’ in Paris and at the University of Navarre in Spain, where he was a visiting professor in the Faculty of Communications from 2011 to 2018. Of British and French nationality, Nicholas was educated at Oxford University, the University of Vienna and the School of Oriental and African Studies in London.
