Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the Food System - residential phase in Barcelona 2025

• Accommodation: EIT Food will book accommocation (single rooms) for all MFS students in Barcelona from 30th June to 11th July.
• Venue & sessions:  Talent Garden Barcelona (on Google Maps)
• Food & drink: Your accommodation includes daily breakfast and dinner, as well as a personal cooking space. Light lunches will be provided at Talent Garden.

Travel

• Please plan your arrival in Barcelona for Mo, 30th June, so you can take part in the welcome dinner
• Sessions will finish on Thu 10th; teams will have Fri 11th morning to plan out and prepare the teamwork phase up to the pitching date, before departing on Friday afternoon.
• In case you would like to stay in Barcelona for an additional period, this might be possible, but in all cases needs to be checked with your home university coordinator (there will be additional documentation requirements, e. g. comparison of fares for different travel dates), and any additional nights will need to be organized, booked and paid privately. If this applies to you, make sure to also add this info to your event registration.
• We assume you are travelling within Europe and have budgeted accordingly; please contact us in case your (anticipated) travel costs exceed 500€.
• Reimbursement of travel costs will go through your home university, so it's important that bookings are in line with rules and requirements valid at your home university; always follow their guidance in purchasing or booking travel.

General requirements & limitations regarding travel

As a general principle, only necessary  travel costs can be reimbursed.

Make sure you collect & keep all your tickets, receipts and - very important - your boarding passes. Reimbursement is only possible for fully documented costs.
