CETEF'24 Central European Technology Forum | A new dimension of innovation: How EIT Food supports new technologies?, 2D codes – a new solution in retail

Central European Technology Forum (CETEF) is an international event that is an opportunity to discuss technological development. It is also a chance to share experiences in building partnerships and networks.

We would like to invite representatives of the agri-food industry to attend a workshop entitled A new dimension of innovation: How EIT Food supports new technologies? 2D codes - a new solution in retail, organised by Industry Contact Point – Digital Transformation & EIT Food. As part of this workshop, we will present the scope of activities of the EIT Food European Partnership, its offer of grants for the development of innovation in the sector and we will touch on the subject of 2D codes, the implementation of which is becoming a technological challenge in the area of sales.

Mirosław Raba will be present as a representative of EIT Food and will be part of this workshop along with Magdalena Bednarkiewicz and Hanna Walczak from GS1 Polska & Witold Statkiewicz from Łukasiewicz PIT. 

This workshop is part of a domain conference "Innowacje w Automatyce, Robotyce i Sztucznej Inteligencji: Nowe Horyzonty Technologiczne", organised by EIT Food's Partner - Łukasiewicz Poznan Institute of Technology. 

Lukasiewicz Research Network – Industrial Institute of Automation and Measurements PIAP specializes in the automation of production lines and the development of industrial applications using robots, the implementation of new technologies, and automation systems in various sectors. The Institute is a global leader in mobile robots for special applications in security, crisis management and civil protection.

The Institute cooperates with international scientific and research institutions. Industry Contact Point Industry 4.0 promotes participation in Horizon Europe by offering specialised training and workshops and helping to select funding and partnership opportunities. Their activities focus on automation, robotics, artificial intelligence, photonics, cloud computing, 5G, cybersecurity, AR and VR.
