In the margins of EIT Food’s Next Bite 2025 | Brussels
👥 Earlier this year, EIT Food partnered with Canadian provinces to host a roundtable series across Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and British Columbia. The purpose was clear: to begin building an Innovation Highway between Europe and Canada in food systems—connecting people, ideas, startups, research, pilots, and capital across borders for mutual benefit.
🤝 These dialogues showcased Canadian leadership in alternative proteins, smart farming, food processing innovation, and sustainable aquaculture, while opening new channels for collaboration with Europe.
🍁 Now, Canada brings this momentum to Brussels with a high-level delegation of provincial representatives, cities, universities, accelerators, and innovative SMEs. The Canada–Europe Agrifood Innovation Roundtable will provide a unique forum for direct exchange between Canadian and European leaders

The roundtable will conclude with a networking lunch to foster informal connections and collaboration planning.
