📅Over the past three years, AGROALNEXT, Spain’s Complementary Plan for Agri-food R&I under the EU Recovery and Resilience Facility, has united the talent of 27 research centres, 7 autonomous regions and hundreds of researchers.

🧮Together, they have implemented over 260 R&D projects, produced more than 230 scientific publications and 25 patents, and trained 1,500 professionals in new scientific and technological skills.

🌱On 7 November, the programme’s Final Event will take place at Baluarte (Pamplona), gathering researchers, policy makers and industry representatives to share results and discuss the future of agri-food innovation in Spain.

  • The agenda will explore five key themes:
  • Sustainable primary production and climate adaptation.
  • Circularity and by-product valorisation.
  • New ingredients and food processing technologies.
  • Sensorics, digitalisation and advanced analytics.
  • Knowledge transfer, innovation hubs and research infrastructures.

🏪The event will also feature a poster exhibition showcasing more than 240 projects, a transfer and innovation area highlighting activities from Line 5 and the two new hubs (EATEX Food Innovation Hub in Navarra and SERIDA HUB in Asturias*), and a space dedicated to upgraded research infrastructures.

🐂This event marks the culmination of an ambitious programme that has strengthened Spain’s scientific and technological ecosystem, contributing to a more sustainable, digital and competitive agri-food future.
