Agrifood Innovation Summit 2024 | Capacity building event on EIT Food Impact Funding Framework
Now in its fourth edition, Agrifood Innovation Summit dedicated to innovation in agriculture brings together experts from the agri-food sector and promotes best practices in the industry, uniting specialists from the agrifood ecosystem, agritech, and research fields.
In the previous three editions, we engaged with industry specialists to discuss sustainability in agriculture and the food industry, the impact of greenhouse gases (GHGs) on Romania's agricultural ecosystem, the importance of food safety, and collaborative strategies to promote young talent in agribusiness. We also explored the future of European agriculture, trends and opportunities driving innovation in agrifood, the current state of the ecosystem, and best practices for the future.
This year, we aim to continue these discussions and highlight topics in sustainable agriculture, ways to combat food waste, and innovative solutions leveraging technology and advanced techniques to enable local production and processing.
