Agricultura regenerativa: el cambio comienza en el campo (Course in Spanish)
Providing a one-day high-impact training in the Basque Country with a focus on regenerative viticulture and sustainable farming practices. The program covers both theoretical foundations and practical applications of regenerative agriculture, including:
- Fundamentals and principles of regenerative agriculture (soil health, biodiversity, reduction of chemical inputs).
- Soil management: techniques to improve fertility and structure, role of organic matter and microbial life.
- Water management: strategies for retention, efficient use, and integration of regenerative techniques.
- Biodiversity in farming systems: promoting pollinators, soil biodiversity, natural predators, and agroforestry.
- Case studies and real examples of regenerative practices applied in viticulture.
The afternoon session connects theory with practice through a guided field visit in the vineyards and winery facilities of Eguren Ugarte, offering practical insights on sustainability, soil, and biodiversity management.
