Event Agenda

The event will begin at 10:00 CET with a welcome and opening session by Dr. Begüm Önal. Following this, Dr. Glenn Mathijssen, Chair of the EIT Food Alumni Board, will introduce the Board and share its 2025 plans and goals.

At 10:15, Assoc. Prof. Galina Momcheva, PhD, from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, will discuss how people-driven and data-driven approaches can drive agri-food innovations and sustainability.

Evgeny Savin PhD, Co-founder at Green Growth, will speak at 10:30 about mapping harvesting data for sustainable agriculture.

The final keynote at 10:45 will be delivered by Dr. Sjaak Wolfert from Wageningen University & Research, highlighting an interdisciplinary approach to digital innovation in agri-food.

The event will conclude at 11:00 with a networking session and Q&A.
