EIT Food's Role in the 2023 WFF Flagship Event
EIT Food Educators, Dr. Eliska Selinger, Dr. Keren Dalyot and Fabienne Ruault, and Miriam Sastre, RIS Communication Manager from EIT Food South, will be hosting a side event in the WFF 2023 named "The Food Around Us: Engaging youth in creating local food maps".
EIT Food educators have come up with an innovative activity to educate young people about healthy food choices in their surrounding area. Young people will create localised food maps over 4 differentent locations (Spain, Israel, Hungary and Belgium) to identify healthy establishments as well as possible paths of improvements.
Throughout the event, the team will be exhibiting demo videos of the activity that will lead to live discussion with the audience.
