About your innovation
We transform underused aquatic biomasses into high-value, bioactive and nutritional ingredients, helping cosmetic, food and nutraceutical industries meet the growing demand for natural, sustainable and multifunctional solutions.
What motivated you to build a startup in this sector?
I have always been passionate about science and its real-world impact, especially where sustainability and innovation meet. After years working in the lab with aquatic resources, I realized how much potential was being lost as waste. That is when the idea for MBP BioTech was born: turning what is considered waste into functional, natural ingredients. What drives us is knowing we can help industries innovate more responsibly while reducing environmental impact. I believe biotechnology can be a powerful tool for a more sustainable and circular future.
