About your innovation
Ceres FieldCheck helps small farmers to keep their fields healthy with affordable robots by removing harmful weeds and inspecting crop health.
What motivated you to build a startup in this sector?
I, Poojitha, grew up in a farming family and witnessed the challenges faced by small-scale farmers like my father. My family had to sell all our fields to repay the debts caused by crop losses. This experience motivated me to pursue science and technology with the goal of helping farmers and eventually building a startup. That's how Ceres FieldCheck was born.
