Microalgas Future

As a start-up with the aim of reaching high levels of production on an industrial scale, our initial plan is to cultivate and produce products from the Schizochytrium strain such as DHA (omega-3) for food and lipid-rich algal biomass to produce HVO, which will be used by an industrial partner to manufacture biofuels. Additionally, we will also obtain biofertilisers and biostimulants for the agricultural sector and other by-products such as animal biofeed.
The lines of research will initially have to do with seeking efficiencies in cultivation, harvesting, extraction and generation of new products for other markets of interest. Another line of production is related to the spirulina and haematococcus strains with
applications for human and animal food, cosmetics and pharmacy.
