By training the next generation of change-makers, empowering communities, and engaging government and industry in actionable innovation, Future Food catalyses progress towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. Its ecosystem consists of a research, innovation and training centre founded in Bologna with offices in San Francisco, Tokyo and Shanghai.

The Future Food Institute studies the new dynamics of interaction between man and his food in relation to health, culture and the environment, in the light of the changes brought about by the use of new technologies and the social changes underway. The Future Food Institute attracts innovators and trains students from all over the world, driven by the mission of accelerating positive processes of change through university masters, intensive courses, educational workshops and bootcamps.
