The Italbiotec Consortium, established in 1998, stands today as the leading promoter of biotechnology in Italy, supported by a vast partnership that includes universities, research centres, foundations, associations, startups, and companies. The Consortium is distinguished by its consulting activities and participation in national and European funding programs, as well as its commitment to training and knowledge dissemination.
Italbiotec offers a comprehensive range of innovation management services, including market research analysis, strategic business positioning, environmental impact assessment (LCA), intellectual property (IP) evaluation, feasibility studies, and startup acceleration and incubation.

Actively engaged in national and international projects that promote innovation and sustainability in the agri-food sector, the Consortium's presence extends across various countries, with a particular focus on Europe, where it collaborates with a wide network of partners, institutions, and companies.

Our research focus centres on three key areas: Agrofood, Bioeconomy, and Life Sciences, each supported by a dedicated team of experts.
