This Consumer Observatory report explores how consumers perceive authorities’ approach to sustainability.

At the same time, authorities are perceived to have a high ability to create change in the food chain (for example in reducing food packaging). They are seen as the end responsible in creating impact and through legislation changing the system to match the wishes of consumers.

But what exactly do consumers believe that authorities do when it comes to food chain sustainability?
