What Makes an Effective Founder? — Workshop for startups

Did you know that the early success of startups depends greatly on the skills and knowledge of their founders? The agri-food sector does not differ in this aspect from other startup fields - having an effective founder plays an important role in early development and excellence further on.

This event is open to experts, scientists, food industry actors, activists - startup founders coming from different areas, interested in or already leading an agri-food startup. If you are interested in what characteristics make an effective founder and how to develop them, join us in an online workshop about individual potentials that contribute to the better functioning of the team and startup as a whole. Come and join us if:

  • you are interested in topics related to food and agriculture
  • you want to hear more about what makes an effective founder
  • you want to hear more about practices that develop favorable characteristics of the startup founder
  • you are ready to take part in the discussion and practical work

In this workshop organised by EIT Food Hub Serbia in collaboration with Google, your educator will be Ivana Sediva - a strategist, mentor and advisor of senior business leaders. With 30 years of experience in top positions at corporations and advisory for a number of startups, she is helping businesses - building organisations, teams, company culture and motivation of people. All this leads to accelerated growth.

In this workshop you can expect many valuable insights, tips and techniques, as well as practical work on your own startup specifics. The main aim of the event is to support, engage and encourage the local agri-food startup scene to be the driver for change.
