The Hub FoodTech & Nutrition is the public-private ecosystem of Southern Catalonia where research centres, institutions, companies, and organisations collaborate to address the current and future challenges of the food industry.
The project is driven by the Ajuntament de Reus through the public company REDESSA, with the collaboration of Eurecat, the Southern Catalonia ICT Cluster, Rovira i Virgili University, and the Diputació de Tarragona, and is supported by IRTA and ACCIÓ.

The Hub focuses on key areas such as knowledge transfer, best practices, training, and networking; driving scalable projects; securing grants and funding; fostering idea generation and innovation; promoting digitalisation across the entire food value chain; and providing access to physical resources.
