   At the Action on Food Hub, frontline voices are central to everything we do. Achieving just food systems means championing the communities that are most impacted by the climate crisis, including Indigenous Peoples, local communities, youth and farmers. At the opening of the pavilion, we’ll hear directly from these voices of the land.

   Livestock and animal proteins have historically been central to human diets, but it’s time we reevaluate existing approaches. As the animal and environmental impacts of modern factory farming become apparent, it’s time to look towards less intensive and more regenerative practices.

   A just transition means making changes to food systems that benefit everyone - particularly those who have historically been marginalised. In the past, conversations on food have excluded frontline actors, meaning that the benefits and impacts of the agrifood system have been unfairly distributed. Now is the time to prioritise equality and justice in our food systems.

   The Global Landscapes Forum is hosting a hybrid conference on ‘A New Vision for Earth’. It will platform a diverse range of voices from across the globe to discuss bold ideas on how to combat the climate crisis, emphasizing Global South communities and regenerative solutions

   GLF Investment Symposium: Sustainable Finance & Investments

   Channeling climate finance to food systems and unlocking barriers for local communities are key priorities. Currently, only 7% of global climate finance is directed to agrifood systems, but to achieve climate goals, total global finance for food and land use needs to see an increase to around $1.1 trillion annually by 2030 - GLF will explore how we could achieve this.

   Food Systems Day: From Farm to Policy

   Food Systems Day at COP30 should be leveraged to integrate food and agriculture solutions into national climate action plans. The Action on Food Hub will be bringing this issue to the forefront - there is no pathway to keeping global warming below 1.5C without the agrifood sector.

   Closing: Nourishing the Future

   The Closing Day offers an opportunity to reflect on the powerful conversations held at the Hub throughout COP30, celebrating the new connections made, the momentum of change, and how we can work together going forward to accelerate a just food transition.
