FEEL LOCAL: Boosting primary production by improving farmers metaskills
The FEEL LOCAL workshop aims to develop tools and professional skills to promote farming best practices and establish dialogue between consumers and producers.
The purpose of this workshop is to develop tools and professional skills to promote farming best practices and develop communication between consumers and producers (short chain supply).
The workshop is mainly designed for farmers (established practitioners with an intermediate level of expertise) and consumers. University students could also participate.
All participants will have the chance to discuss the main challenges of their business directly with industry experts and academics. Through in-site or online meetings they will identify and discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the production chains, as well as the results of quantitative surveys carried out among farmers, producers and consumers. Moreover, an innovative, "multistakeholders" digital platform will be developed in the frame of reinforcing the communication and local products promotion, among farmers, retailers and consumers.
