Entrepreneurship is becoming a key driver of the economy and innovation in all sectors, but particularly in the agri-food sector. In the Basque Country, specifically, the gastronomy is an avant-garde economic sector, a promoter of tourism and in recent years great benchmark in the latest technological research. But gastronomy is not everything in the sector agri-food, it is only the most visible link in the chain. For this reason, EIT Food brings together entrepreneurs from the entire agri-food chain and seeks to put the value in entrepreneurship in general and in the sector in particular.
