The Maspex Wadowice Group is one of the biggest food producers in Central and Eastern Europe, which operates on the food market for over 25 years.

Competences & Capabilities
Maspex employs approximately 6,500 people in Poland and abroad (Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Russia, Turkey). Its products are sold to over 50 countries worldwide.
The company operates in the market of production of juices, nectars and soft drinks, instant products (cappuccino, cocoa, coffee milk powder, instant tea), pasta, jams, ketchups and sauces as well as in the segment of ready meals and processed vegetables. Moreover, the company manufactures vitamins and supplements.
In addition, Maspex operates in other related fields, i.e. logistics (most modern logistic centers in CEE), agricultural production (cooperation with farmers) and environmentally friendly solutions (photovoltaics, close water circuits, BAT for the food industry, sewage treatment plants producing biogas for trigeneration).

Insect larvae will be reared on food side streams, allowing the valorization of secondary raw materials produced in excess from food industries, and then used as environmental enrichments in laying hens and broilers
Unlike typical sensory panels and consumer surveys, they will not involve testing of sample products but creation of innovative, non-yet-existing combinations of product features and benefits
Their base fat systems show a great potential for optimization regarding their nutritional and sustainability value
Additionally, food safety requires the full traceability of crop constituents in the complete food value chain
It also encompasses a portfolio of instruments dedicated to beneficiaries from EIT RIS countries and intended to stimulate their innovative and entrepreneurial potential and to promote their international exposure
It encompasses a series of interactive events, which provide a space to explore food topics with large numbers of people across Europe
Develop in-depth knowledge about food systems through studying consecutively at three distinct European academic institutions and use your knowledge to drive the future transformation of the food system
