Our Activities


EIT Food will organise international exchange programmes for students, and develop a unique interdisciplinary EIT labelled Food System Master of Science (M.Sc.) for graduates. EIT Food will train thousands of students, entrepreneurs and food professionals via workshops, summer schools and online educational programmes such as MOOCS (Massive Open Online Courses) and SPOCS (Specialized Private Online Courses). Education projects for 2018:
  • Massive open online courses (MOOCs)
    A Course library for the public on food systems, presenting popular food science in an interactive and understandable format.
  • Summer School
    A 3-week programme for students and interested professionals to learn entrepreneurship, innovation and business creation principles and skills.
  • Specialized private, tutored, online courses (SPOCS)
    Tutored courses providing high-level expert content to paying participants.
  • SME Workshops
    Workshops on emerging trends and technologies to build regional SME networks.
  • Food Solutions
    Students of all levels can work in teams on a relevant problem set for 3 months and up to a year, mentored by academics and professionals.
