Request for proposals: Workshop organisation

All EIT Food regions
Europe
Deadline: 30 May 2024

EIT Food will roll out at least 2 workshops to showcase the work carried out by our Regenerative Agriculture Programme in the in different regions across Europe in 2024. These workshops will enhance participants’ experience, inspiration, and connection with the work of EIT Food in the field and bring together gamechangers in food systems transformation.

We are looking for an entity to organise at least 2 workshops:

  • The first workshop will be the 2nd edition of the RAW Workshop that will take place the 14th of June in Italy, as a pre-day event of the Next Bite Flagship event. After the first edition organised 24th of November 2023 in Toledo, Madrid, we will organize the second edition in Italy. The aim of the RAW Workshop is to give to participants an overview of real experiences of farmers in transitioning from conventional to regenerative practice, the impact of upcoming trends, relevant policies, and leadership in the transition towards regenerative agriculture space. The workshop suits different agents who want to be part of the transformation. Farmers are core to ensure the success of this event, meaning that they have to represent, at least, 50% of the participants of the workshop. The workshop aim to bring together local gamechangers in food systems transformation to ensure that the challenges addressed are context-specific.
  • The second session is expected to be proposed by the service provider, and to take place between the 1st of September and the 15th of November. The service provider is free to propose a geographical location for the second workshop. However, the country proposed will be important of the selection of the contractor, who needs to make the case for the strategic relevance of the choice from an agricultural perspective.

Using EIT Food’s unique reach in Europe, from corporates, to SMEs, to research institutes, politics, farmers and startups, these workshops will be a unique combination of stakeholders who are at the forefront of a global/local, interconnected future-fit food system.

The following document details the services we are looking for the contractor(s) to provide. It also provides details on how interested contractors can submit a proposal.

In the proposal, the contractors may choose to submit a proposal for either one or the 2 expected workshops.
