The EIT Food organisation is distributed across 5 Co-Location Centres providing a national presence, and the EIT Food HQ in Leuven, Belgium. In additional to regional management and outreach, staff execute activities in the Areas of Education, Business Creation, Innovation and Public Engagement.
As one of four pillars within EIT Food; Business Creation support innovative impactful agrifood entrepreneurs and startups to deliver new food innovations and businesses across Europe.

About the Assignment
This award procedure is aimed at selecting a contractor responsible to design, optimize, implement new feature and support the Salesforce Platform used by the Business Creation Team at EIT Food.
The task of this assignment is to optimize the currently used Salesforce Platform at EIT. To perform this assignment, the tenderer will need to understand Business Creation Department business needs; Design the solution; Train the users and create appropriate
The contract with the selected company will be signed by EIT Food ivzw.
The following tasks should be performed during this assignment:
1. Step 1: Take back control of the environment.
a. Design profiles and roles (BC Director, CLC BC Team, RFS Manager, FAN Manager, Seedbed Manager, etc)
b. Clean current implementations (Improve Account record types, layouts, etc)
c. Document the processes and Train the user (Train the trainer approach or Direct training)
2. Step 2: Improve and align BC process
a. FAN implementation (Startup recruitment through SF communities) => Improve the current implementation before next year
b. Allow the 2 other BC programs to use Salesforce for their Startup recruitment (ie: Align both 3 programs)
c. Improve other workflows such as Pitchbook integration (e.g: Last round of funding,
etc), Confidential document storage (contracts, etc), Subgranting flow (Merge the Travel and Other subgranting + automate process), reporting, etc
3. Step 3: Improve User Experience by connecting Salesforce to EIT Food BC Website
a. Align with the team responsible for the EIT Food BC website development to embed EOI forms. Provide Salesforce technical resources to allow the EIT Food Website to push and retrieve data from Salesforce. Advise on the data captured. Investigate with EIT Food BC website team the possibility to improve the front-End of the FAN (and other BC Programs) Application platform; or embed this Salesforce community into the website
4. Step 4: MarketPlace
a. Investigate a Marketplace tool in Salesforce (sort of matchmaking tool for BC team to sell their services). Start with Design and MVP
