Call for expressions of interest to translate an online summer School for students and farmers in Italy, Poland and Spain
About the event
The main goal of the event will be to equip students and farmers with information to foster skills, techniques and know-how aimed at revitalising the cultivation of ancient/almost vanished varieties of cereals, medicinal plants and aromatic herbs in rural areas of Italy, Poland, and Spain. The summer school is structured in the following manner: A series of theoretical events during morning sessions followed by practical ones in the afternoon. The selected organisation will translate the event from English to the local languages using a subtitling software or scheme.
The event will take place from September 14 to September 18 with 4 to 7 hours of training each day. The event will gather 50+ participants that will log in from Italy, Poland, and Spain. Experts and trainers from the different organisations within the European food and agriculture sphere will participate as trainers and lecturers. Subsequently, the students will use the knowledge and skills acquired during the summer school to generate implementation plans during a co-creation lab that will take place immediately after the summer school.
About the call
EIT Food is looking for an organisation based in the EU to provide live translation services during the online/streamed summer school event for students, farmers and other stakeholders within the agrifood ecosystem.
