Call for expressions of interest to coordinate and manage the Agrifood Futures EIT Food expert community
What is the Agrifood Futures Community?
The EIT Food Expert Community was launched in December 2018 with a view to create a network of contacts and thematic online dialogues among R&D experts from EIT RIS countries, established and moderated by EIT Food with a view to involve the best experts in KIC activities.
As time passes by, this concept has been maintained and new needs have arisen. Many EIT Food projects require experts from specific fields, which ends up with a dissemination of experts groups that do not get to interact with each other, some experts need support to overcome challenges and many experts are looking for a space where to interact and exchange opinions.
Therefore, the Agrifood Futures Community aims to be a community of collaborative agrifood experts working together on innovative solutions to make the food system more sustainable, healthy and trusted. The group is currently a group of 400+ members from across the agrifood industry.
The aim of this project is to involve the best experts, fostering conversation on EIT Food challenges and focus areas within sub-groups and encouraging creativity and ideation of new projects. The community will also become a talent pool for specific projects within the industry. We want to connect experts with other experts, and share with them quality content and insights. Our objective is to become the go-to expert community platform in the field, providing quick access to must-know information, news, insights and opinions.
This platform will still be a closed community and the members will be carefully chosen in order to ensure the high quality of discussions and the highest possible value delivered for the members.
