EIT Food South
Deadline: 18 April 2021

About the programme

EIT Food together with Climate KIC, Digital and Manufacturing KICs, Athena RC and Bioazul S.L., are leading a multiannual and multidisciplinary programme designed to alleviate water scarcity in Southern Europe. We work together considering water scarcity as a thematic field from agrifood to manufacturing.

The main objective is to ease the transition to a water saving economy across Southern Europe and to contribute, in the long run, to reduce Europe’s water consumption, wastage and pollution. This is achieved by targeting different stakeholders, from policy makers to business, industry leaders and citizens through different actions.

Become an expert from the Body of Knowledge!

We are looking for 15 skilled experts with top level curriculum and experience in the water sector to actively participate in the Project. The 15 experts will integrate the Body of Knowledge and will be assigned to a working group to actively contribute to a specific deliverable and publications.

Do you want to support our scaleups? Become a mentor!

We are also looking for 20 mentors to support selected scaleups that will participate in InnoWise Scale programme. The programme will gather scaleups and SMEs working on SMART solutions with the aim to move towards a water-efficient and water-saving economy.

Scaleups will be selected around 3 specific use cases tailored to the agrifood, manufacturing, urban planning, energy production and/or utilities sector. Each mentor will be assigned to one scaleup, depending on the company needs, to provide them with guidance and support on their product launch and business development.
