Call for Contributors – FoodUnfolded®

We are looking to grow the FoodUnfolded® team further which is why we are calling for agencies. If you are passionate about creating an open and honest communication culture around the origins and future of our food, we want you to join us.

About FoodUnfolded®

FoodUnfolded is a global community which aims to reconnect us with the origins of our food. One way we do this is via online information and discussions around the past, current and future food and agricultural innovations and practises.

Our content is driven by science and technology, collaborative initiatives, creative imagination and media experimentation.

The FoodUnfolded® community wants to join all groups of the food chain in dialogue on how we can create a better future of food.

About the Call

We are looking for creative and committed agencies to help us manage some of the bigger projects linked to FoodUnfolded®. Our goal is to create up to four multiannual framework agreements, initially contracted for 2020 with a possibility for annual renewal up to four years. Each framework agreement would be organised per lot (below).

We are looking for agencies specialising in:

1. Search Engine Optimisation

  • Help shape the editorial content based on SEO analysis
  • Help reach our goal of engaging with 350K visitors through organic traffic in 2020
  • For the purposes of assessing value for money, please provide an estimated monthly cost to reach the KPI
  • For the purposes of establishing the framework contract, please also provide an hourly rate per staff category and rates for any additional fees

2. Community Event Agencies (to create a pool of national agencies)

  • Continue the national community events started in 2019 focusing on specific audiences or themes (such as food waste)
  • Manage impact tracking and follow up to ensure the community events do not become a ‘one off’
  • We are looking for proposals to run events in different countries
  • For the purposes of assessing value for money, please provide a price list of cost per event related to audience size for the countries you operate in
  • For the purposes of establishing the framework contract, please also provide an hourly rate per staff category and rates for any additional fees

3. Social Media Promotion Agency

  • Promote our activities through targeted advertising on social media
  • For the purposes of assessing value for money, provide a proposal on monthly costs in relation to expected growth
  • For the purposes of establishing the framework contract, please provide an hourly rate per staff category and rates for any additional fees

4. Web agency

  • Technical maintenance of the online site
  • Hosting
  • New technical developments
  • For the purposes of assessing value for money, please provide an estimated monthly cost to maintain the site
  • For the purposes of establishing the framework contract, please also provide an hourly rate per staff category and rates for any additional fees

If your agency would like to bid for any of these lots (1-4), please send a description of your agency, a brief outline of how you think your agency can help FoodUnfolded® achieve the requested goals outlined above through your expertise and your rates to hello@foodunfolded.com by 30 January 2020. Don’t forget to put ‘Application Sub-Call D: FoodUnfolded Agency, Lot [number]’ in the subject field.

  • Value for money
