Mtching COVID

Mtching COVID

Mtching COVID will launch a platform connecting recovering COVID-19 patients with dietitians and health coaches to motivate them, follow-up and provide inspiring recipes.

Covid-19 has infected millions of people all around the world. A large number of them have been hospitalised and a long recovery awaits after being discharged from hospital. Recovering Covid-19 patients have often lost their muscles and sense of smell and taste, making food and exercise very important during the recovery process. However, at this moment, there is no systematic follow-up by dieticians or health coaches. This projects will provide a platform to match and connect dieticians and health coaches with recovering patients in a secure and confidential way. On the platform:

  • Patients can find inspiring recipes and prepare shopping lists based on their weekly planning and personal preferences
  • Dietitians can motivate patients and follow-up in a highly personalised way, focusing on the nutritional, food pleasure and immunological aspects of a balanced diet
