Open Food Facts is a collaborative food information database that is independent, transparent and freely reusable (Open Data). It is a kind of Wikipedia of food products — with more than 3 million products collected by more than 80,000 contributors —, that informs the public, helps food manufacturers to produce better food, helps scientific research and supports public policies for healthier food, with less environmentally impacting.
