The Menu for Change Challenge has been a catalyst for innovation, empowering young leaders to develop solutions that address critical food system challenges—from agroecological farming and sustainable procurement to food waste reduction and education. This event brings together the five winning teams of the Challenge, who will present their innovative projects along with prototypes and data-backed solutions, demonstrating the real-world impact of youth-led innovation.
The event will also introduce the Young Professionals Platform (YPP)—a collaborative initiative supporting young professionals in the agrifood sector. The YPP is implementing the Menu for Change Challenge along with EIT Food and Seeding the Future Foundation. The session will consist of the project demonstrations and a short discussion about the critical role of capacity building, mentorship, and skills development for youth, addressing key challenges such as securing funding, raising awareness, and fostering collaboration to drive meaningful change.
