As one of the most disruptive innovations in the food system, cultivated meat raises big questions, particularly for primary producers whose perspectives are often underexplored.

This session examines the impact of cultivated meat and seafood (CM/CSF) on the livelihoods, roles, and identities of those working at the beginning of the food supply chain. Drawing on research from the FEASTS project, RESPECT Farms and S2Aqua share insights from interviews with over 50 producers across Europe.
