In Focus: Driving Cooperation for Food and Agriculture Under a Changing Climate

// // Plenary

Hosts:  Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Security and Nature of the Kingdom of Netherlands, SNV, and Clim-Eat

At COP30, the Netherlands and its partners continue to play an active role in shaping international collaboration on food and agrisystems transformation: from precision agriculture, seed varieties, soil health to fertiliser sustainability, water systems, and nature-based solutions.

This joint session aims to showcase the Netherlands’ convening and facilitating role, highlighting progress made during the COP, concrete outcomes from initiatives such as the Global Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) Conference, and shared ambitions for 2026, especially looking at activities outside of COP events.

The event will bring together Dutch and international partners to take stock of the “state of play” after eight days of COP30 negotiations: reflecting on achievements, lessons, and next steps toward implementing commitments and deals.
