Host: Deep Sea Reporter (DSR)
Deep Sea Reporter has collaborated with coastal communities from around the world to produce a documentary about the Ocean and climate change, with a focus on fishing and food security. Each story has been self-recorded by our collaborators on their cameras and phones and then edited here at DSR. In their own words and chosen imagery, these communities share with us how climate change has been impacting their lives and livelihoods, and offer some possible solutions.
This is their united call to action to protect our Ocean for future generations. It is a collective message to world leaders, policymakers and participants at COP 30 - from those whose lives depend on the Ocean. Lena Scherman (Editor in chief) will introduce the film, followed by the screening, and then they will moderate the panel discussion afterwards. Plenary/Blue Room
