Rea Losha
Rea Losha is an organic agriculture specialist, graduate from CIHEAM Bari and founder of BioAgroBooster (BAB). BAB will bridge a critical market gap: the lack of reliable, safe, and regulation-aligned inputs in a sector rapidly moving toward EU compliance. BAB is an emerging circular-economy venture transforming Albania’s agricultural and food waste into high-quality, standardized, and certifiable compost tailored for organic and in transition farmers. BAB integrates scientific know-how, EU-aligned quality parameters, and lean operational models to pilot localized composting and input provision solutions in central Albania. The venture will bring together farmers, processors, and municipal stakeholders to valorize biowaste streams and reduce disposal costs, while enabling producers to meet organic standards and improve soil health.
Through EWA Programme, BAB aims to accelerate its pilot phase, strengthen technical partnerships, and build a scalable model capable of supporting Albania’s transition toward organic and sustainable agri-food systems.

Janika Aan is an Estonian expert in data science, artificial intelligence and digital innovation, with more than ten years of experience in developing AI-driven solutions, leading data science teams and shaping business strategy. She has worked as both an AI and data science lead as well as a head of data, managing analytics and innovation projects and helping organisations adopt new technologies that create measurable value. Janika is known for her ability to connect data, technology and real business needs to build forward-looking and impactful digital solutions.
Her latest project, FoodID, is an innovative digital food transparency platform that brings together information from producers, retailers and consumers into a single QR code. FoodID delivers personalised, science-based product information, helps reduce food waste and empowers people to make more informed, healthier and more sustainable purchasing decisions.

Nadica Desanova
Nadica Desanova is a mechanical engineering student specializing in mechatronics and a deep-tech founder from North Macedonia. I co-founded Mimic Tech, where I develop innovative biomaterials such as kombucha-based bioplastics as sustainable alternatives to petroleum based materials. My work sits at the intersection of engineering, biotechnology, and sustainability, with a focus on creating scalable, climate positive materials.
She has participated in several European innovation programs, including EWA and the EU Economic Growth Program, and I recently completed the BOLD Fellowship in New York. Her mission is to push biomaterial innovation forward and contribute to a more circular, environmentally responsible future.
