Summer School on “Entrepreneurship for food product innovation”

Summer School on “Entrepreneurship for food product innovation”

In 2018, the University of Turin and the University of Hohenheim successfully implemented a Summer School (SumS) on “Entrepreneurship for Food Product Innovation” that is offered in Turin in September 2018 for the first time.

We will continue this activity in 2019 with the University of Hohenheim as host. Siemens will act as an industry partner providing expertise in digitization and investment. The Summer School offers a unique 20-day program that allows students to experience creative thinking, innovation and entrepreneurship against the backdrop of the food industry. The program utilises the flipped classroom concept and combines a web platform with unique content and an exciting on the spot program in Stuttgart, Germany, where students will get acquainted with professors, entrepreneurs and fellow students. In doing so, the SumS offers a unique experience of the potential of entrepreneurship for the food industry.
